Mixology Roulette is a self-contained cocktail and mocktail discovery app. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the app collects, how it is used, and your rights.

Data Collection

Mixology Roulette does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. All app data is stored locally on your device.

What Is Stored On Your Device

The following is saved locally using standard iOS storage (UserDefaults) and never leaves your device:

• Age verification status (whether you confirmed you are of legal drinking age)
• Your favorite drinks
• Your excluded drinks and ingredients
• Your "My Bar" ingredient inventory
• App preferences (cocktail/mocktail mode, sound and haptics settings, onboarding completion)
• Spin counter used to manage how often promotional screens appear

Motion Data

The app reads accelerometer data to detect a shake gesture. These readings are used transiently in memory to measure motion and are never stored, logged, or transmitted. They are not used for any other purpose.

Purchases

In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. Mixology Roulette does not process, store, or have access to your payment information. Purchase history and subscription status are managed by Apple and verified on your device.

Analytics & Tracking

Mixology Roulette does not use any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs. No usage data, device identifiers, or behavioral information is collected or shared with third parties.

Location Data

The current version of Mixology Roulette does not request or use your location data.

Network Use

All drink recipes, images, and content are bundled within the app, so it works fully offline. The app makes one outbound request at launch to retrieve a small configuration file from mixologyroulette.com. That request sends no personal data and no device identifiers.

Third-Party Links

Recipe screens may include optional links to a retailer's public website so you can buy missing ingredients. Opening one takes you to that retailer, whose own privacy policy then applies. We do not share any information about you with them, and the app does not process payments or fulfill orders.

Children's Privacy

Mixology Roulette is rated 18+ and requires age verification. The app is not intended for use by anyone under the legal drinking age in their jurisdiction.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected here and in the app with an updated "Last updated" date.
